DIY - refresh shelving

Giving a basic piece of furniture a new lick of paint can give it a whole new look and brighten up any room.

We painted this once black Formica shelf an off white to freshen it up....I think it will be just perfect as a bedside table!

Tips:

Lightly sand all the surfaces

Use a primer suitable for enamel paint and put down 2-3 coats sanding lightly between each layer

Pop on 2 coats of waterborne enamel paint
